The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Oxford Instruments America, Inc. for a service maintenance agreement for microanalytical tools. The tools require unique specifications that only the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) can maintain, service, and repair. The agreement will ensure continued safe, reliable, and satisfactory operation of the manufacturer's instruments. • The microanalytical tools include Aztec/mics/x-stream2/SEMX-Act/Nordlys and Aztec micsF+/x-stream2/X-Max50. • The agreement will cover maintenance, service, repair, replacement parts, and software for the tools. • Interested parties who believe they can meet the NETL requirement must provide evidence of their capability by 5:00 PM ET on May 21, 2026.
