2026 Reservoir Improvement Program

The City of Austin is seeking qualifications from engineering firms for the 2026 Reservoir Improvement Program. The program aims to maximize the useful life of the city's raw water, potable water, reclaim water, and wastewater storage facilities. The scope of work includes evaluating and rehabilitating protective coatings and structural integrity on the interior and exterior of City of Austin potable water, reclaimed water, and wastewater storage facilities, as well as incorporating improvements to safety, security systems, civil, electrical, and instrumentation and control at these sites as needed. Key aspects of the project include: • Evaluating and rehabilitating protective coatings and structural integrity • Incorporating improvements to safety, security systems, civil, electrical, and instrumentation and control • Ensuring compliance with City of Austin's Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Procurement Program • Executing a standard City of Austin professional services agreement • Carrying insurance in the following types and amounts for the duration of the Agreement.
