Description
This project provides high‑voltage utility‑owned electrical service to the Marine Stadium parking lot and adjacent municipal facilities in Long Beach, CA. The work includes demolition of existing transformers, installation of three new transformers and associated switchgear, construction of new low‑voltage distribution systems, conduit and wire upgrades, concrete site work, trenching, ground‑penetrating‑radar surveys, and full commissioning and close‑out documentation. The contract is a construction bid with a tight 120‑day construction window after the Notice to Proceed, mandatory pre‑bid conference, and extensive labor‑, safety‑, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Remove existing HV transformers, switchgear, and related concrete pads.
• Install new transformers, switchgear, meter sections, and LV distribution throughout the parking lot and adjacent buildings.
• Provide civil work: trenching, conduit, concrete pads, utility coordination, GPR survey, and site restoration.
