R-7282 Fleet Services EV Charging Depot

The City of Long Beach is soliciting bids for the complete design‑build of a new EV charging depot (R‑7282). The scope includes demolition of existing site features, installation of five dual‑port DC fast chargers (400 kW each), construction of concrete foundations and curb, installation of low‑voltage switchgear, transformers, conduit, wiring, and a 600 kWh‑800 kW battery energy storage system (BESS) with associated fire‑protection, HVAC, and control equipment. The contractor must also handle all civil site work, utility coordination, permitting, testing, commissioning, and provide operation & maintenance manuals.
