Waste Disposal Services for Sni-A-Bar Wastewater Treatment; Roll-Off Dumpster at Public Works Bldg

The City of Blue Springs, Missouri is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide solid waste collection, transfer, and disposal services at two Public Works facilities for a 5-year term. The purpose of this project is to ensure reliable, sanitary, and efficient waste removal while minimizing leakage, odors, and operational disruptions at each location. The scope of work includes providing all labor, equipment, dumpsters, transportation, disposal services, and related materials necessary to perform solid waste collection and disposal services. The contractor shall provide and maintain nine 2-cubic-yard dumpsters and one 40-cubic-yard roll-off dumpster at the Sni-A-Bar Wastewater Treatment Facility, and one 40-cubic-yard roll-off dumpster at the Public Works Building. • Provide all dumpsters, containers, equipment, labor, transportation, and disposal services required under this scope • Ensure all dumpsters and containers are clean, safe, structurally sound, leak-resistant, and suitable for the intended use • Maintain all dumpsters and containers in good working condition throughout the term of the agreement • Repair or replace any damaged, unsafe, or unusable dumpster or container at no additional cost to the City • Coordinate scheduled and requested services with authorized City staff • Return all dumpsters and containers to their designated locations following service • Take appropriate precautions to prevent spills, leaks, odors, and damage to City property • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing the collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste
