Financial Counseling & Briefing Services

The Rhode Island Army National Guard (RIARNG) is seeking sources for financial counseling and briefing services. The contractor will provide one-on-one counseling and group briefings to Army National Guard and Air National Guard service members and their families. The services will include financial planning, budgeting, and education on various financial topics. The contractor will be required to maintain up-to-date knowledge of available financial resources and provide referrals to clients as needed. The contract will have a base year and two option years, with an estimated 300 in-person counseling sessions, 150 virtual counseling sessions, 30 financial education briefings during RSD events, and 20 financial education briefings during non-RSD events per year. Key features of the job include: • Providing one-on-one counseling and group briefings on various financial topics • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available financial resources • Providing referrals to clients as needed • Submitting monthly reports and providing proof of document destruction at the end of the contract • Ensuring contractor employees have the proper qualifications and certifications, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and/or Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) • Complying with various regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
