Mechanical Joint Fittings & Restraint Kits

The City of Asheville is seeking a vendor to supply mechanical joint fittings and associated restraint kits for its Water Warehouse. The requirement includes three distinct line‑items: six 4‑in × 15‑in ductile‑iron solid sleeves, twelve 24‑in mechanical joint restraints, and twelve accessory kits for the restraints. All products must meet a suite of industry standards (ASTM A536, ANSI/AWWA, NSF‑61, FM/UL, ISO 9001) and be from approved manufacturers. Delivery is FOB the Water Warehouse and must occur within 30 days of order receipt. The bid is an informal request; bids are submitted by email and must include a completed bid form, unit prices inclusive of freight, and required certifications (insurance, MWBE, E‑Verify, etc.). • Quantities: 6 sleeves, 12 restraints, 12 accessory kits (all “Each”). • Technical compliance: ductile‑iron, pressure ratings 350 psi/250 psi, UL or FM approval, ISO 9001, NSF‑61. • Mandatory documentation: completed bid form, insurance certificates, non‑collusion statement, MWBE certification (if applicable). • Delivery: FOB City of Asheville Water Warehouse, within 30 days; unit price must include freight.
