Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a qualified contractor to operate a landfill disposal site in Sonoma County for non‑hazardous solid waste generated by Caltrans activities. The contract will cover the disposal of non‑compacted refuse, miscellaneous litter, debris and green waste (excluding tree stumps) within a 20‑mile radius of 224 Lincoln St., Santa Rosa, CA 95401. The contractor must provide weighing, receipt documentation, maintain all required permits, and comply with state environmental statutes such as SB 1383. The agreement is a three‑year term beginning roughly mid‑January 2027.
