The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service is soliciting quotations for the upfitting of eight fire command trucks. The trucks are 2024 Ford models, and the upfitting includes the installation of red lights, sirens, and striping packages. The vendor must procure and install all RLS systems and striping/nomenclature kits. The Forest Service will supply BK mobile radios, console faceplates, remote speakers, and antenna kits. The vendor must be within 125 miles of Pueblo, CO 81008. The scope of work includes the installation of light bars, forward zone lights, side zone lights, rearward warning lights, and siren speaker systems. The vendor must also provide manuals, diagrams, and warranty information for the installed items. • The vendor must install LED low-profile clear lens light bars on the cab roof, facing forward. • The light bars must have 12 or more LED sections and a minimum 5-year factory warranty. • The vendor must install forward zone lights, side zone lights, and rearward warning lights. • The vendor must install a siren speaker system with a PA system and radio rebroadcast capability. • The vendor must provide a 9-switch lights controller and a siren controller. • The vendor must install console faceplates, remote speakers, and antenna kits.
