Annual Track & Field Event Management & Timing Services

The Alachua County Sports & Events Center is seeking a private partner to assist in driving the Athletics efforts of the center. The ideal candidate is an expert in meet management, technical aspects of track & field, has strong relationships with youth, scholastic, collegiate, and masters track & field, and has an entrepreneurial spirit with understanding of tourism. The scope of work is extensive and includes managing track & field events, providing timing services, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include: • Managing track & field events, including scheduling, logistics, and operations • Providing timing services, including setup, operation, and maintenance of timing equipment • Ensuring compliance with regulations, including safety protocols and accessibility standards • Coordinating with stakeholders, including athletes, coaches, and officials • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering excellence and results, and will be expected to work closely with Alachua County staff to achieve these goals.
