Uninterrupted Power Systems Maintenance

The United States Army Central Command (ARCENT) is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance services for two Mitsubishi 9800A 750 Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS) located in Building 1947 at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts as needed. The work will be performed on-site at the base, and the contractor will be required to comply with all applicable installation, state, and federal rules and regulations. The contract will have a base period of 12 months, with four one-year option periods. The contractor will be required to provide a three-year warranty for all new parts installed. Some key points to consider are: • The contractor must have experience in emergency response equipment installation and an advanced knowledge of working with electrical components. • The contractor will be required to provide documentation of previous work performed upon request. • The contractor will be responsible for any malfunctions resulting from failure to follow manufacturer instructions. • The contractor will be required to submit a written report to the Contracting Officer within 10 working days after the maintenance is performed. • The contractor will be required to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and maintain an accurate record of all accidents resulting in death, traumatic injury, occupational disease, or damage to property.
