The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority (and Rivanna Solid Waste Authority) is seeking qualified CPA firms to perform an independent audit of their Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR) and to provide related consulting services. The audit will cover the most recent fiscal year, requiring a thorough review of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. Bidders must demonstrate CPA certification and experience with municipal audit engagements. • Perform an independent audit of the ACFR for both authorities. • Deliver a full audit report, management letters, and any required corrective action recommendations. • Offer additional consulting services as needed (e.g., internal control assessments, financial policy guidance). • Submit a detailed proposal with pricing, staff qualifications, and timeline. • Respond to any technical questions by the designated point of contact before the submission deadline.
