Truss Structure

The Pinellas County Convention and Visitors Bureau is seeking a vendor to install, dismantle, and remove a branded truss structure at various events throughout Pinellas County. The truss structure will serve as an entrance/exit archway and will be used to maximize VisitSPC brand visibility. The vendor will be required to provide a truss structure that meets the specifications outlined in Exhibit A, as well as additional weights for truss legs in the event of high wind. The vendor will also be responsible for maintaining the equipment in good working order and installing, removing, and returning branded truss banners to VisitSPC or storing them upon request. Some key points to consider: • The truss structure will be used at various events throughout Pinellas County, including the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, Sanding Ovations, and the Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival. • The vendor will be required to meet with VisitSPC staff and event organizers onsite prior to each event installation to inspect the area and determine the truss location. • The surface for truss installation will vary according to the event and truss location, but will include a mixture of sand, pavement, sidewalk, grass, and asphalt. • The vendor will be required to provide a pricing proposal that includes the all-inclusive cost of the truss, installation, dismantling, and removal, as well as the cost of extended set-up periods for events longer than 3 days.
