USCG Station at Cape Disappointment

This Sources Sought notice seeks industry input on a multi‑disciplinary, heavy‑civil engineering project to restore and upgrade the U.S. Coast Guard Station at Cape Disappointment. The effort includes rockfall slope mitigation, replacement and repair of waterfront dock structures and vessel haul‑out facilities, and extensive coastal resilience and sedimentation remediation work. The government is gathering interest, capabilities, and design‑build experience from both large and small businesses, with a focus on innovative, resilient solutions for a challenging coastal environment. • Rockfall mitigation: tree removal, rock scaling, dowel installation, mesh replacement, and midslope attenuator systems. • Waterfront structures: replacement of floating docks, pile repair/replacement, electrical upgrades, and continuous dock operation during construction. • Sedimentation and coastal resilience: bathymetric surveys, geotechnical testing, nature‑based solutions, dynamic revetments, offshore breakwaters, and dredged‑sediment reuse. • Requires experience with USCG/USACE design standards, complex tidal currents, sand movement, and large storm events. • Responses limited to six pages and must be submitted electronically by 15 Nov 2026.
