Description
The State of Vermont’s Department of Mental Health is soliciting proposals to operate a 24/7/365 Mental Health Urgent Care service in Rutland County. The selected vendor will provide crisis assessment, triage, peer‑support, and coordination with emergency departments and local providers to reduce ED visits and police involvement for mental‑health crises. • Deliver continuous urgent‑care mental‑health services (all ages) with peer‑support counselors and on‑site triage.
• Develop partnerships with local health‑care providers, law‑enforcement, and justice‑system stakeholders.
• Submit detailed two‑year budget, meet strict cost‑allowability rules, and provide monthly data for the first year plus quarterly reports thereafter.
• Maintain required professional liability insurance and comply with Vermont procurement, climate‑change certification, and worker‑classification regulations.
• Optional virtual bidders’ conference on July 10, 2026; questions due by July 17, 2026; final proposals due August 7, 2026.
