Eagle Point WTP Boiler Replacement Project

The City of Dubuque is seeking a consultant to develop a complete design for the Eagle Point WTP Boiler Replacement Project. The project involves replacing the aging boilers and heating systems at the Eagle Point WTP with more fuel-efficient boilers, which will contribute to less carbon emissions. The selected consultant will be responsible for supervising any sub-contracted work and will work closely with the City to ensure a successful project. The scope of work includes designing and constructing documents necessary for bidding and construction activities. Key aspects of the project include: • Main Plant architectural updates to allow a second means of egress from the boiler room • Replacement of steam boilers with hot water boilers at the Main Plant and Sludge Plant • Replacement of steam piping and terminal units with hot water piping and terminal units at the Main Plant and Sludge Plant The City is looking for a consultant with experience in similar projects and the ability to work collaboratively with City staff.
