Cornerstone of Centerville South Phase I – Public Improvements

The City of Centerville is soliciting bids for Phase I of the Cornerstone South public‑improvements program, a roughly $5 million municipal infrastructure project. The work encompasses complete roadway construction (clearing, grading, subgrade, asphalt and concrete paving, curbs, sidewalks, and hiker/biker path), storm‑water and sanitary sewer pipelines, water‑main installation, traffic‑signal and street‑lighting systems, utility conduit and fiber runs, and associated site‑work such as erosion control, seeding, and landscaping. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best responsible bidder and will require compliance with Ohio public‑works statutes, prevailing‑wage rules (if applicable), bonding, insurance, and a 6 % retainage with a 90‑day signal guarantee. • Roadway & pavement: excavation, base, asphalt concrete layers, concrete curbs, sidewalks, ramps, and hiker/biker path. • Utility infrastructure: storm‑water RCP, catch basins, sanitary laterals, water mains (3‑12 in.), fire‑hydrants, and conduit for traffic‑signal/fiber. • Traffic‑signal & lighting: LED signal heads, mast‑arm signs, luminaire foundations, UPS, CCTV, radar detectors, and control cabinets. • Ancillary work: erosion‑control BMPs, temporary traffic‑control, seeding/mulching, and as‑built record‑drawing submission within 30 days of completion.
