Description
The Road Commission of Kalamazoo County is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive tree removal, pruning, and stump grinding services throughout Kalamazoo County for the 2027 calendar year. The solicitation offers four distinct pricing options:
• OPTION #1 – Tree removal by Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) with separate line items for leaf wood and haul wood across various DBH ranges.
• OPTION #2 – Tree removal/pruning billed at an hourly rate for equipment and labor.
• OPTION #3 – Tree removal/pruning per mile with distance‑based pricing tiers.
• OPTION #4 – Stump grinding charged per inch of stump diameter.
A mandatory pre‑bid meeting is required on August 13, 2026, and all bids must be submitted electronically via Bid Express by August 27, 2026. The contract term runs from January 1 to December 31, 2027.
