Request For Proposals for Roach Control and Treatment

The City of Los Angeles is seeking proposals from experienced contractors to provide roach control and treatment services by applying an insecticidal latex coating to the inside of maintenance holes up to 8 feet deep. The treatment should last for at least 18 months. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and supplies, as well as performing the work in a safe and efficient manner. The contract will be for a term of 5 years, with an option to extend for an additional 2 years. • The contractor will be required to treat approximately 32,000 maintenance holes. • The contractor will be required to provide a written report of the work performed, including the number of maintenance holes treated and the location of the work. • The contractor will be required to guarantee that the treated maintenance holes will not experience roach infestations for 18 months from the date of treatment. • The contractor will be required to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to safety and environmental protection.
