New York State OGS is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide comprehensive consulting, design, bidding, and construction‑phase services for extensive roof, waterproofing, structural, and façade work at the Cultural Education Center in Albany. The scope includes demolition and replacement of multiple roof systems (3rd‑floor terrace, 11th‑floor and penthouse roofs, South Museum Hall roof), removal and replacement of the south‑connecting pedestrian bridge, façade and soffit panel repairs, and lighting modifications, along with required MWBE and SDVOB participation goals. The contract will run for a five‑year term with a maximum construction budget in the $20‑$25 million range, and the solicitation requires a Letter of Interest by the deadline. • Replace and waterproof roofs on three distinct building sections (3rd‑floor terrace, 11th‑floor/penthouse, South Museum Hall). • Remove, repair, or replace the south‑connecting bridge and associated façade elements. • Provide design, bid, and construction administration services, including BIM deliverables if required. • Meet NY State MWBE (15 % MBE, 15 % WBE) and SDVOB (3 %) participation goals and submit required certifications.
