RFI: USAFA Farish Recreation Area Summer Caretaker Services

The United States Air Force Academy is seeking a contractor to provide summer caretaker services for the Farish Recreation Area, a government-owned recreational lodging facility in Woodland Park, CO. The contractor will be responsible for after-hours surveillance, security, and guest support, and will serve as the on-site security presence during non-business hours. The contractor will also be responsible for performing daily checks of the facilities and grounds, ensuring guest compliance with area regulations, and providing essential guest services. The contract will be for a base year with two option years, and the contractor will be required to provide a qualified individual, a suitable RV, and meet all certification and background check standards. Key requirements include: • Ability to pass a background check and drug test • Possession of current CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver's license • Providing a suitable RV and personal vehicle • Physical capability to patrol uneven terrain in various weather conditions • Demonstrated experience in customer service, security, and/or facility management • Ability to meet all key requirements, including providing a qualified individual and meeting all certification and background check standards.
