SOURCES SOUGHT for Inland Navigation Planning for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District is seeking sources for inland navigation planning services. The contractor will provide planning services in support of activities such as flood risk management, ecosystem restoration, navigation, hydropower, water supply, and watershed planning. The contractor must demonstrate a working knowledge of the Corps' six-step planning method and the ability to apply certified Corps federal statutes, regulations, and planning models. The contractor must also be capable of performing economic analysis, plan alternatives identification, and environmental impact assessments. Some key services that the contractor should be able to provide include: • Economic analysis • Plan alternatives identification, formulation, analysis, and cost evaluation • Physical and biological baseline condition • National and regional demographic and economic forecasts • Environmental impact assessments • Master planning • Public involvement programs • Ecosystem restoration techniques • Development of reconnaissance level/preliminary concept plans • Historic property and cultural resource management • Water resources planning, investigations, and analysis The contractor should be able to perform up to approximately $4,000,000 in work of the required type within a one-year period and accomplish the anticipated work in an efficient and quality manner.
