Comprehensive Zoning Plan for the Interstate 78 Corridor

The Township of Union in New Jersey is seeking a professional planner to prepare a Comprehensive Zoning Plan for the Interstate 78 corridor. The plan should provide a shared vision for the township, guiding decisions on physical and economic development, and redevelopment of the corridor. The planner will be responsible for leading public engagement sessions, preparing a clear and concise plan, and ensuring that the plan is consistent with Highlands Council requirements. The township is looking for a planner with at least five years of experience in municipal planning in New Jersey, and who is knowledgeable about Highlands Regulations. • The planner will be required to attend meetings of the Township Committee and Planning Board • The planner will be responsible for maintaining all documents and records related to the plan • The planner will be required to provide a not-to-exceed cost for preparing the plan • The planner will be expected to lead at least two public engagement sessions • The planner will be responsible for ensuring that the plan is consistent with Highlands Council requirements
