Source Sought - Regulated Garbage Incineration, Minot AFB, ND

The US Air Force is seeking information from contractors who can provide regulated garbage incineration services for Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. The services will involve the incineration of regulated garbage, which is defined as waste material derived from fruits, vegetables, meat, or other plant and animal material. The contractor will be required to operate and maintain a facility approved for the disposal of regulated garbage and to provide a primary and alternate point of contact. The government will be responsible for collecting and transporting the regulated garbage to the contractor's facility. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those set forth by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) concerning the handling and disposal of regulated garbage. • The contractor will be paid on a per-pound basis for the complete and satisfactory performance of the services. • The contractor must submit invoices electronically via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) using the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) module. • The contractor must maintain an active account in the PIEE system and submit invoices using the '2-in-1 (Services Only)' document type in WAWF.
