Landfill Brush Grinding

The City of Nashua is seeking a qualified contractor to perform grinding of the existing brush pile located at the landfill facility. The work must be completed by November 1, 2026. The City prefers that the grindings remain on-site for use as daily or intermediate cover material, but bidders may propose removal and off-site disposal if it provides a cost advantage. The contractor must have at least five years of experience and a record of successful in-service performance. • The contractor will be responsible for grinding the brush pile in accordance with applicable regulations and ensuring safe and efficient operations at the landfill. • The contractor must provide references for recently completed projects related to brush grinding. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, including those related to employment and labor. • The contractor must provide certificates of insurance for general liability, employer's liability, and auto liability, naming the City of Nashua as an additional insured. • The contractor must begin performance upon receipt of an executed contract and a valid purchase order issued from the City of Nashua.
