Dry Compost Accelerator for MnDOT

The State of Minnesota is seeking to purchase dry compost accelerator products, such as Boost Compost Xcel, or MnDOT approved equal, on an as-needed basis. The Contractor(s) must be able to provide pallets of accelerator for orders at a contracted rate to the location listed in Exhibit C of the Contract document. The State reserves the right to use any Contract that may result from this Solicitation. Some key points to consider: • The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for dry compost accelerator for the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT). • MnDOT will use this acceleration product to aid in roadkill animal decomposition and to reduce the odor of the composting animal carcasses at the Anoka MnDOT Truck Station. • Pallet purchases of 48 buckets per pallet will be made on an as-needed basis. • The requirements are detailed in the specifications listed in Exhibit C of the Sample Contract. • A Responder offering an approved equal must provide information to the State for evaluation no later than the date and time listed in Section 1, Step 1 Instructions to Responders.
