The City of Alexandria is seeking a qualified janitorial contractor to provide comprehensive after‑hours cleaning, sanitizing, and waste‑removal services for its three‑story Utility Customer Service Building (approximately 48,000 sq ft total). The contractor will be required to perform daily cleaning tasks, weekly deep‑clean duties, quarterly window cleaning and furniture waxing, and as‑needed carpet shampooing and floor re‑waxing, while adhering to city‑specified disinfectants and waste‑management procedures. The contract is a 12‑month base period with two optional one‑year extensions, and the work must be performed Monday‑Friday beginning no earlier than 6:30 PM.
