NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF AN ARMY FITNESS COVER LOCATED ON CAMP JOSEPH T. ROBINSON, NORTH LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS

The Arkansas Department of the Military is seeking a qualified consulting firm (or a consortium) to provide full‑service architectural and engineering design for a new Army Fitness Test Cover (~45,000 sq ft) at Camp Joseph T. Robinson. The scope includes structural metal framing, metal roofing, concrete footings, site drainage, utility extensions, accessibility provisions, and compliance with local, state, federal codes and DOD antiterrorism standards. The firm must deliver a complete design package that meets all applicable regulations and will be awarded a single contract (or multiple if justified). • Design of a ~45,000 sq ft fitness facility (structural, architectural, MEP, site work). • Compliance with DFA/Division of Building Authority Minimum Standards, Public Laws 90‑480 & 900‑400, and DOD antiterrorism standards. • Requirement to submit a detailed RFQ response by 2 p.m. May 11 2026; award to one consultant capable of delivering services in‑house (sub‑consultants allowed).
