Request for Qualification (RFQ) for Construction Services at the City of Caldwell Wastewater Treatment Plant

The City of Caldwell is seeking qualified contractors to submit Statements of Qualifications for the construction of the Caldwell WWTP Filter Chemical Addition and Administrative Building Projects. The project includes the construction of flash mix and flocculation improvements, a chemical storage building, and a new administrative building. The estimated construction costs for the projects are $600,000 for Phase 1, $1.2 million for Phase 2, and $6 million for the administrative building. The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, a current State of Idaho Public Works Contractor’s License, and a minimum bonding capacity of $6 million. • The project requires the construction of concrete and masonry structures at a wastewater treatment plant site. • The contractor must have experience in the construction of similar projects with construction costs over $2 million. • The contractor must have a proven track record of completed projects without unresolved claims. • The contractor must demonstrate an experience modification rate (EMR or EMOD) of 1.1 or better. • The contractor must provide a minimum of three references for similar projects completed.
