Description
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking to award a sole‑source task order for armed ground transportation and facility guard services across the Arizona‑California corridor (four Border Patrol sectors). The incumbent, ISS Action, Inc., already operates a fleet of detention‑equipped vehicles and employs ~130 cleared, armed CDL‑qualified drivers/guards. The requirement includes 24/7 dispatch, scheduling, and coordination with USBP operations, as well as compliance with security, communication, and camera system standards. No other vendor can meet the immediate, turnkey capability needed, and a new contractor would face a 30‑60‑day (or longer) clearance delay that is unacceptable for mission‑critical border operations. The solicitation is a bridge order to maintain continuity until a competitive Recompete can be completed, with a transition period of 90 days after a new BPA issued 08/31/2026.
• Sole‑source award to ISS Action, Inc. under GSA schedule GS‑07F‑072GA.
• Provides detainee transport (armed/unarmed) and facility guard services in Tucson, Yuma, El Centro, and San Diego sectors.
• Requires ~130 vetted, armed, uniformed CDL drivers/guards and a fleet of vehicles with detention packages, cameras, and communications.
• 24/7 operational management, dispatch, and integration with CBP systems.
• Bridge task order extends through 29 Sep 2026; new BPA issued 31 Aug 2026 with a 90‑day transition.
