Famli Accounting & Financial Management Advisory & Support Services

The Maryland Department of Labor is seeking a contractor to provide accounting and financial management advisory and support services for the Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) program. The contractor will be responsible for providing project management, general accounting, and financial management services, including support for the collection of employer contributions and the payment of benefits. The contract will be for a three-year base period with one optional one-year extension. The total value of the contract is not to exceed $4.5 million. • Key services include: project management, general accounting, support for the collection of employer contributions, support for the payment of benefits, and additional ad-hoc support. • The contractor must have at least seven years of experience providing financial management and accounting advisory and support services to large organizations. • The contractor must also have experience supporting clients in the development and implementation of new sub-organizations focusing on financial management and accounting functions. • The contract will be awarded based on a competitive sealed proposal process, with technical factors receiving greater weight than financial factors.
