Temporary Labor Services

The County of Leon is seeking bids for temporary labor services. The contract will be for a term of one year with the option to renew for additional years. The County is looking for vendors to provide temporary laborers to work in various roles, including general laborers, semi-skilled laborers, and general office staff. The laborers will be required to work in different locations, including the Yard Waste Disposal area, Metals Recovery area, and Recycling Building of the Solid Waste Division, as well as the Facilities Management Division. The vendor will be responsible for providing laborers who meet the physical standards to perform the work assigned and for ensuring that all laborers are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties. The vendor will also be responsible for maintaining a full-service office in Tallahassee and for providing a single point of contact with authority to settle any disputes that may arise out of the agreement. • The County is looking for vendors who can provide temporary labor services on an as-needed basis. • The vendor will be required to provide laborers who meet the physical standards to perform the work assigned. • The vendor will be responsible for maintaining a full-service office in Tallahassee. • The vendor will be required to provide a single point of contact with authority to settle any disputes that may arise out of the agreement. • The County reserves the right to reject any proposed laborer based on background check information.
