Description
The City of Norwalk is seeking a qualified contractor to perform Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded concrete and ADA improvements throughout the city. The work includes demolition and replacement of ADA‑compliant curb ramps, installation of cast‑in‑place truncated domes, reconstruction of Portland Cement Concrete sidewalks and curbs, associated asphalt work, traffic control, utility adjustments, and landscaping/irrigation restoration. The contract is fixed‑price, subject to prevailing‑wage, Buy‑America, HUD Section 3, and other federal/state regulations. Bids must be submitted electronically via PlanetBids by the November 10, 2026 deadline, and attendance at the mandatory pre‑bid meeting on October 27, 2026 is required.
