Bid No. 267026 Hydrogen Peroxide

The City of Salem is seeking bids for the supply of Hydrogen Peroxide 35% for use in the Ozone treatment process. The contract term is for one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The successful bidder will be required to provide safety data sheets, product data sheets, and documentation showing NSF/ANSI 60 certification. The bid must include the estimated quantity of 11,000 gallons. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Some key points to consider: • The solution shall contain 35 percent hydrogen peroxide by weight unless specified otherwise by the City. • The hydrogen peroxide solution supplied shall contain no mineral or organic substances in quantities capable of producing deleterious or injurious effects on the health of those consuming water that has been properly treated with hydrogen peroxide. • The specified Hydrogen Peroxide shall contain no contaminants that would cause treated water to fail to meet the requirements of US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) drinking water regulations.
