CHFFA Commercial Paper Program

The CHFFA Commercial Paper Program provides low-interest rate capital markets access through tax-exempt and taxable commercial paper notes. Eligible applicants include non-profit 501(c)(3) corporations and public health facilities that have been in existence for at least three years, providing the same types of services. The program can be used for construction, remodeling, renovation, and/or improvements, land acquisition, acquisition of existing health facilities, equipment and/or furnishings, refunding of prior debt, working capital for start-up facilities, and costs of bond issuances. • The program has no application fee, but an initial fee of 0.05% of the issue amount (maximum $100,000) and an annual administrative fee apply. • The commercial paper application must include a detailed description of capital projects to be funded by proceeds. • Required documentation includes three most recent fiscal years of audited financial statements. • The total estimated available funding is $5,000,000,000, with an estimated amount per award of $1 - $5,000,000,000.
