Tax-Exempt Equipment Financing Program – CHFFA

The Tax-Exempt Equipment Financing Program – CHFFA provides financing for equipment purchases to eligible health facilities. The program offers tax-exempt, fixed-rate financing with a minimum loan amount of $500,000 and no maximum loan amount. The loan maturity must relate to the useful life of the equipment to be financed. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations and public agencies that are health facilities as defined in the Authority's Act. The program requires a non-refundable application fee of $500 and an initial fee of 0.05% of the issue amount. • Eligible facilities must be non-profit 501(c)(3) corporations or public health facilities. • Eligible facilities must have been in existence for at least three years, providing the same types of services. • Eligible facilities must demonstrate evidence of fiscal soundness and the ability to meet the terms of the proposed loan. • Funds may be used for the purchase or reimbursement of qualifying equipment and minor equipment installation costs.
