Description
The U.S. Geological Survey is conducting market research to identify qualified small‑business laboratories capable of performing a GLP‑compliant analytical method validation for a HPLC‑DAD assay that quantifies antimycin A homologs in multiple matrices. The effort is split into two phases: (1) development of a calibration curve for four antimycin A homologs using a single analyst; (2) if successful, full validation and quantification of those homologs in four sample types (fermentation brine, purified antimycin, liquid formulation, water) using USGS‑provided samples and consumables. Responses are voluntary, and the government will use the information to determine the procurement approach, which may be set‑aside for small businesses or open competition. Multiple awards are possible.
• Required: Independent laboratory with GLP experience and HPLC‑DAD capability.
• Phase 1: Create four separate calibration curves (A1‑A4) with standards prepared three times each.
• Phase 2 (optional): Apply validated method to quantify antimycin A in four distinct matrices supplied by USGS.
• Deliverables: Validation protocol, data packages, and compliance documentation.
• Submission deadline: 5:00 PM EST, 15 Sep 2026, via email to [email protected].
• No cost reimbursement; responses are for market research only.
