Chemical Analysis Testing Services

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide Chemical Analysis Testing Services. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional two-year periods. The vendor will be required to provide testing services for samples submitted by the Kentucky Labor Cabinet, including air, bulk, and wipe samples. The vendor must be accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Industrial Hygiene Proficiency Analytical Testing (IHPAT) Program. The vendor will be responsible for providing consultation to the Dept of Public Health Laboratory and to Industrial Hygienists at no additional cost. Some key points to consider: • The contract will be awarded based on the best value, with price being a key factor. • The vendor must be able to provide results within 7 business days. • The vendor must be able to test for a variety of analytes, including organic solvents, inorganics, and physical analysis. • The vendor must provide a separate bid sheet with pricing information. • The vendor must be registered in the Commonwealth eProcurement System.
