Fertilizer, Pesticide, Herbicide, and Related Commodities

The City of Mesa is seeking up to five qualified vendors to supply a full range of commercial‑grade fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and related landscaping chemicals on a non‑exclusive, as‑needed basis. Vendors must be able to deliver orders within ten days, maintain local inventory, and provide complete price catalogs within ten days of award. The contract is a three‑year term with optional two‑year renewal and a possible six‑month month‑to‑month extension. No minimum volume is guaranteed; purchases will be made as requirements arise. • Scope includes liquid, dry, organic, bulk, and bagged fertilizers; a full line of herbicides and pesticides; and any related commodities supporting municipal landscaping. • Vendors must meet stringent packaging, labeling, safety data sheet, and EPA registration requirements, and replace defective products at no cost within seven days. • Evaluation focuses on qualifications/experience (100 points) and proposed solution/methodology (300 points); up to five firms may be placed on a pre‑qualified list.
