Tree and Brush Clearing Services

The City of Pawtucket (acting also as the Pawtucket Water Supply Board) seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive tree trimming, tree removal, and brush clearing services on all PWSB‑owned lands across several municipalities in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Work must be performed under the direct supervision of a licensed arborist, using specified equipment such as a 55‑ft bucket truck, a 12‑inch chipper, a crane, a log truck with grapple, and a 50‑hp stump grinder. The contract runs from July 1 2026 through June 30 2028 with an optional one‑year extension. Bidders must submit a sealed bid by May 28 2026, with RFIs due May 7 2026. The award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder, with provisions for MBE consideration and prevailing‑wage compliance. • Provide labor, equipment, fuel, insurance, overhead, and profit; no salary above foreman grade may be included. • Minimum crew: two persons (one licensed arborist).
