NEZ PERCE/CLEARWATER NATIONAL FOREST - Red River Work Center Manhole Sealing

The project involves applying epoxy paint and grout to the interior of sewer manholes at the Red River Work Center in the Nez Perce/Clearwater National Forest. The contractor will be responsible for mobilization, surface cleaning and preparation, and application of the epoxy paint sealant. The project requires coordination with other work and activities, including public and agency use of the site, continuous operation of the wastewater system, and maintenance of traffic on Forest Administrative roads. The contractor must also protect existing utilities and structures, and restore damaged areas to their original condition. • The project is located in the Nez Perce/Clearwater National Forest, approximately 16 miles southeast of Elk City, Idaho. • The contractor must verify the locations of utilities and facilities shown on the drawings and determine the presence of those not shown. • The contractor is responsible for reducing soil erosion and dust due to wind or water to a level meeting federal, state, and local regulations. • The contractor must provide all temporary facilities, including office, toilet, and storage facilities, and remove all traces of these facilities prior to completion of the project. • The contractor must conduct regular progress meetings and submit monthly progress reports with an updated schedule. • The contractor must also submit a written coordination plan at least 14 days prior to the anticipated date when raw sewage will be diverted to the septic tanks.
