Laundry Chemicals and Services

The Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (UNICOR) is seeking a contractor to provide laundry chemicals and services for its laundry operations at Eglin Air Force Base, FL, and Maxwell Air Force Base, AL. The contract will be for a period of five years, consisting of one base year and four one-year options. The contractor will be responsible for providing all required laundry chemicals, dispensing equipment, and associated components, as well as furnishing, delivering, installing, programming, and maintaining an automated, metered dispensing system at each factory location. The contractor will also be required to provide training to government personnel on the operation and care of the equipment. The evaluation factors for this contract will be technical capability, past performance, and price. • The contractor must provide a technical proposal that addresses all requirements in the statement of work. • The contractor must provide at least three relevant contracts completed within the last five years. • The contractor must provide unit and extended prices for all chemicals listed in the price schedule. • The contractor must demonstrate experience and competency in the area of laundry chemical services. • The contractor must provide a plan for delivering and installing the equipment within 30 calendar days after contract award.
