The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, is seeking a vendor to provide Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, or have speech disabilities. The selected vendor will be required to provide high-quality TRS, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The scope of work includes providing TRS, maintaining a complaint log, submitting annual reports, and complying with FCC regulations. The vendor will also be required to provide transition assistance if the contract is not renewed or is canceled. • The contract term is for one year, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms. • The vendor must be a North Carolina registered vendor in good standing. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to confidentiality and data protection. • The vendor must provide a detailed technical approach, including a description of their experience and qualifications. • The vendor must provide a pricing proposal, including all costs associated with providing the TRS. • The vendor must provide a plan for continuous improvement and quality assurance.
