Purchase of Butterfly Valves for the Lanier and Shoal Creek Filter Plants

The County is seeking a qualified vendor to supply fifteen double‑offset butterfly valves (sizes 54‑, 72‑, 96‑, 108‑inches) and matching gearboxes for two water‑treatment filter plants. The supplier must provide full engineering design packages, shop drawings, certifications (AWWA, NSF 61), operation & maintenance manuals, and deliver the finished units FOB destination to the specified plant locations. Installation, field testing, and on‑site services are excluded and will be handled under a separate contract. • Supply of 15 custom‑sized double‑offset butterfly valves with ductile‑iron bodies, EPDM seats, and stainless‑steel hardware meeting AWWA C504/C516 and NSF/ANSI 61. • Provision of AWWA‑approved gearboxes sized to reuse existing manual/electrical operators, including any necessary stems or accessories. • Delivery of complete design documentation, certifications, and searchable PDFs of O&M manuals (pre‑ and final data) to the County’s Purchasing Division. • Coordination of freight‑prepaid, FOB destination shipments to the Lanier and Shoal Creek Filter Plants in Buford, GA. • All bids must be sealed, include required ethics affidavits, references, and be submitted by the deadline; the award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
