Dover Catholic Education Coordinator

The Dover Air Force Base Chapel is seeking a Catholic Religious Education Director to manage and teach the religious education program for all ages. The contractor will be responsible for providing non-personal services, including coordinating and supervising RE programs, recruiting and training volunteers, and developing a comprehensive RE program. The contractor must possess at least two years of experience in Catholic religious education and demonstrate a clear understanding of the religiously pluralistic and sensitive environment of the Air Force Chaplain Corps. • The contractor will work closely with the Chaplain to develop and implement a quality comprehensive RE program. • The contractor will be responsible for tracking background checks and ensuring that all volunteers complete the required checks. • The contractor will develop and implement a plan for volunteer appreciation. • The contractor will coordinate with the Catholic Director of Music Ministries during holiday seasons. • The contractor will ensure that all RE facilities are setup and equipped for programs and events. • The contractor will recommend Catholic RE curriculum for procurement and develop lesson plans.
