Description
The State of Hawaii’s Department of Defense is seeking a contractor to replace two Cutler‑Hammer dry‑type transformers (45 kVA and 75 kVA) at the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Hilo. The work includes removal of existing units, disposal of hazardous materials, installation of new transformers, testing, commissioning, and submission of a one‑year workmanship warranty. The contract is a small‑purchase construction solicitation and requires a C‑13 electrical specialty contractor license, bid bond (5 % for bids ≥ $25 k), performance and payment bonds for contracts ≥ $50 k, and compliance with Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage rules and ACT 68 monthly reporting.
