Intent for Sole Source - Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Support for Sherpa, Twin Otter, Beaver, and other DeHavilland Supported Aircraft

The US Forest Service is seeking a sole source contractor to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) support for their Sherpa, Twin Otter, and Beaver aircraft. The contractor will provide technical publications, engineering and technical support services, parts, and special tooling. The contract will be a 5-year, firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The contractor must be the OEM, DeHavilland Aircraft of Canada, as no other sources will be considered. Key aspects of the job include: • Technical publications and updates • Engineering and technical support • Parts and special tooling • Maintenance training and support The contractor will be required to provide these services for the duration of the contract, which is expected to be 5 years.
