P&W Tooling Evaluation and Repair

The United States Air Force is conducting market research to identify firms capable of evaluating, qualifying, and performing remedial maintenance/repair on a set of 24 Pratt & Whitney (P&W) tooling and support equipment items (PWA part numbers). The effort is a Sources‑Sought Synopsis; responses do not guarantee a contract award but will inform future acquisition planning. Interested parties must submit a written capability statement (two copies) by 4 Nov 2026. • Evaluate and qualify listed PWA tooling (part numbers 58307, 58391, 59158‑59171, 59173‑59180, 59182, 73605). • Perform remedial maintenance/repair to OEM specifications, including hardware fabrication, PLC programming, and test‑equipment calibration. • Provide evidence of quality‑system certifications (ISO 9001/AS9100), access to Pratt & Whitney technical data, and any existing relationships with Pratt & Whitney Military Engines. • Detail any capability gaps and mitigation plans (e.g., teaming, subcontracting) and identify work that could be set aside for small‑business participation. • Submit written responses (no email or fax) to the two USAF contacts listed.
