Hispanic-Serving Institutions Education Grants Program

The USDA NIFA Hispanic‑Serving Institutions (HSI) Education Grants Program funds innovative education, teaching, and community‑development projects at eligible HSIs to strengthen the nation’s food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences (FANH) workforce. Applicants may request Standard, Bridge, or Collaboration grants of up to $1.2 million for a 48‑month project period. Projects must benefit the entire campus community, incorporate leadership development, and may include applied research, experiential learning, curriculum design, faculty development, or outreach activities. Up to 40 awards are anticipated, with a total FY 2026 funding pool of $30.6 million.
