MCD10 Sign Language Interpreters for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

The Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is seeking sign language interpreters to provide services to Deaf, oral deaf, late-deafened, and hard of hearing individuals for Executive Branch agencies in various settings. The contract will have a three-year initial term with two three-year options to renew. The estimated annual value of the procurement is $10,000,000, and the estimated total value of the procurement is $90,000,000. The contract will be open to all Executive Branch agencies. Key responsibilities of the interpreters will include providing sign language interpretation services, maintaining the quality of interpreter services, and participating in MCDHH’s Workforce Development Program. • Provide sign language interpretation services to Deaf, oral deaf, late-deafened, and hard of hearing individuals. • Maintain the quality of interpreter services to meet the needs of Deaf, oral deaf, late-deafened, and hard of hearing individuals. • Participate in MCDHH’s Workforce Development Program to increase the numbers of ASL/English Interpreters, Deaf Interpreters, and CART Providers across the Commonwealth. • Comply with the specifications and guidelines established by OSD and the EPP Program. • Identify how the contractor meets the goals of environmentally preferable products and services.
